To say that Stanton Blakeslee keeps busy is a bit of an understatement. A certifiable Type-A workaholic, he puts this side of his personality to good use, cranking out creative concepts and giving direction on the numerous projects that are constantly cycling through the creative department at Eye Integrated. He is highly sought after by various clients for his ability to visually translate his creative ideas in both two and three dimensions.

After meeting success in print and advertising, Stanton Blakeslee had just one goal when starting Eye Integrated Communications: create effective integrated marketing that communicates through all media. Mr. Blakeslee's list of accomplishments speaks for itself, having garnered over fifty regional, national, and international awards in the field of graphic design. His work has been seen in magazines such as Graphís, Print, How, and Applied Arts. He has also received distinguished awards from The Type Director's Club, the American Institute of Graphic Arts, and the American Center for Design. Before starting Eye Integrated, Stanton was a one of the founders of a local advertising firm, the Barber Agency in Greenville, North Carolina where he created award-winning work for clients like Hackney and Sons and Flanders Filters.

At the same time, Stanton also lent his talents as an art director, designer and illustrator to the North Carolina Literary Review where he won critical acclaim for his work. His most prestigious accomplishment came in 1993 when his art direction for the North Carolina Literary Review was recognized by the American Center for Design as one of the most important international works in the field of graphic design that year. He notes a recent proud accomplishment is the overwhelming success of the "We Are" television campaign for University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina, which recently won a both local and district Addy awards. He anticipates similar results at the national Addy's in June.

He continues to weave his knowledge of traditional design theory into the World Wide Web as well as environmental and 3D design. Stanton is a graduate of East Carolina University.

Bill has spent his entire 35-year career in business-to-business marketing. After two years of product development experience, he moved to the technical writing/advertising arena and progressively gained experience in all aspects of communications advertising, public relations, and financial, employee, and community communications. At one point in his career, he was the worldwide communications director for a $6 billion Fortune 500 company located in northeastern Pennsylvania. In that role he managed staffs of communications experts in both the US and Europe. His last 8 years there were spent managing two businesses for that company with domestic sales approaching $100 million.

Due to the nature of the companies Bill has worked for, he has experience marketing to virtually all two-digit SIC classifications in the United States. Bill has an undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Virginia and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati with a double major in marketing and finance. In both Pennsylvania and Greenville, Bill has served and is serving on the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs in those areas. Bill joined Eye Integrated Communications in November of 2003 to assist the company with its focus on serving a more diverse set of business-to-business accounts.

A high-powered laser can be found at the depths of Eye Integrated Communications and his name is Jason Crain. From professional body-building competitions to his collection of Samurai swords, Jason appreciates perfection in design. Every aspect of his life, Jason plans and executes his goals with laser-like precision and a cordial demeanor. And his discipline and dedication make him the perfect mentor for our young, talented design team.

Having been with Eye since its inception, Jason was made a partner in 1998 for his excellent work, and for his dedication and loyalty to Eye Integrated Communications. "If Jason hadn't been there day and night doing great work and inspiring others to do the same, Eye probably wouldn't be where it is today", says Stanton Blakeslee of his good friend and colleague.

As art director, his ability to execute and produce outstanding creative is unmatched. His management of the creative department is key to the success of Eye Integrated. With a healthy balance of positive reinforcement and critical feedback, he guides his team of designers toward successful and targeted, creative solutions.

Jason is responsible for the execution creative work for all of Eye's clients and says his proudest accomplishment is the work done on the most recent Leo W. Jenkins Cancer Center Annual Report. "It was a massive project in both scale and design. Stanton had a grand vision and it was up to us to execute it. It was a team effort that has given us all something we can be proud of."

Kellie Vicars has mystified an occasional client with her apparent "psychic" abilities. Her knack for anticipating client needs can only be described as supernatural. It's this uncanny ability, her commitment to excellence and her contagious positivity that our clients have come to rely on.

A native of Hickory, North Carolina, Kellie Vicars attended East Carolina University where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. She graduated within the top 10% of her class in July of 2000. After interning with Eye, Kellie left such an impression, that she was asked to join our team as an account executive. She has been key to streamlining client-agency relationships over the past year and has won the respect of both clients and colleagues alike. She currently manages all Internet-related accounts and performs psychic readings upon request.

Jarrell is a native of Greene County, and earned a B.F.A. in graphic design from East Carolina University in 1988. He began his career in Raleigh, then moved to Atlanta in 1990. Jarrell built a reputation as a freelance designer working for many of Atlantas most prestigious design studios. In 1995 he took his first salaried position as an art director, and over the next six years produced award winning design solutions for such clients as Havertys Furniture Company, The Home Depot, TBS, and Turner South to name a few. In 2001 Jarrell and his wife Stacy, a native of Greenville, started Jarrell Design Collective. In 2002 the couple moved their business back home to Greenville where they have added clients such as the performing arts, theatre and music departments at ECU, PCMH, Carolina Classics Catfish and Greene Natural Fibers.

One of the newest additions to Eye, Eva Roberts brings over 25 years of professional experience working in New England, New York, and North Carolina. Eva moved to Greenville in 1991 to join the graphic design faculty at East Carolina University where she met Stanton Blakeslee, and they first worked together to produce award-winning design. Eva has had her design solutions published in numerous books on graphic design and in magazines such as Print, How, and Applied Arts. Awards have come from The Type Directors Club, American Institute of Graphic Arts, and the American Center for Design among others. Though she will continue to teach part-time, Eva retired from ECU and joined the Eye team in August 2005 where she is an asset in allowing us to further expand the creative resources available to our clients. She is pleased to be working with Stanton again in the creative whirl of Eye.

Gray joined Eye Integrated in 2004 after completing his MBA at East Carolina University. Prior to joining Eye, Gray worked at Wachovia Bank. Gray supports all of the account work at Eye with direct responsibility for several clients. His energy and enthusiasm as well as his business background are proving to be valuable attributes for our clients.

Brandon came to Eye Integrated as a Summer intern and has evolved into an important team player. Even as an ongoing student at East Carolina University, Brandon has a braced discipline for solid design solutions and constantly proves himself an asset in the most critical times.

Jason is our resident programmer and IT consultant. A native of Greenville, he is a self-taught engineer of networking and software technologies. Specializing in the development of database-enabled web applications, his work in the open-source arena has been used by numerous private companies, government agencies, and has been documented in technology magazines such as Linux Magazine and .NET Pro.

Jason is knowledgeable in various scripting languages and operating systems and is certified as a Zend Engineer and in Linux Administration. His past projects encompass areas of content management, e-commerce, social-networking, intranets, database administration, news publications, and application frameworks.

Elizabeth assumes a variety of responsibilities at Eye. As Office Manager, she is the interface for all vendor and client communications and handles all day-to-day office administration. In addition, she keeps the office and all of its facets running smoothly. Elizabeth is responsible for managing project scheduling and human resources through the Project Management Intranet system developed by Eye's technical department. Her positive attitude and solutions-oriented work ethic help to maintain an energetic atmosphere at Eye.

Shelly comes to us from Vienna, Virginia. As accountant she handles all day-to-day accounting including billing projects, invoicing, accounts payable, and maintaining the overall balance of finances within Eye. In her work Shelly is very thorough and detail oriented creating an effective and efficient accounting department within one person. Her patience and persistence make her an integral part of the team.
